US-1 Van Lines offers free on site estimates in limited areas. The US-1 estimator will come to your moving location and review all items being moved as well as discuss all of your moving and storage needs.
Understanding the importance of a Binding Estimate
For relocations out of state and even for larger local moves, US-1 recommends that you get a Binding Estimate. You will receive a written Binding Estimate that tells you exactly what your total move cost will be. A Binding Estimate will list the exact cost of transportation, packing labor (if requested), and packing materials based on the list of items to be moved. With a Binding Estimate there is no need for any weight ticket or weighing of your shipment. It is a flat rate.
