All clients are covered for General Liability during the move. Should your building require proof of this insurance, please advise your Sales Representative so we can assist the building management with their required certificates of insurance. The coverage on the items being moved in your shipment is referred to as “Valuation” and is not “insurance”. Insurance can only be sold by a licensed insurance agent. Valuation is the released value that you assign for the liability limit on your property at the time of the move. The various valuation options will be given to you before your move begins. You will be able to select whether you would like to release the shipment to a basic free level of valuation, or purchase additional valuation coverage. The costs for additional valuation and the free minimum declaration values vary from state to state, so please ask your Sales Representative about your specific type of move. |
